Al Roker, NBC's beloved weatherman, has made his triumphant return to the TODAY show after several weeks of absence due to health issues. Roker revealed that he had been battling blood clots, and underwent multiple surgeries last year to address them. A Year of Health Challenges

Roker's health issues began last year when he was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a condition in which blood clots form in the deep veins of the legs. He underwent surgery to remove the clots, but complications arose during the procedure, and he was admitted to the hospital for further treatment. Roker also experienced a pulmonary embolism, which is a blood clot in the lungs. Despite these setbacks, Roker has remained positive and determined to make a full recovery.

"I'm so grateful for the love and support I've received from my family, friends, and colleagues," Roker said. "It has been a tough journey, but I'm determined to get back to my best."
